Time Manifesto - Public Declaration.
TIME
Time is an abstract entity. - Do not perceive it as seconds on a clock or as a measurement. It is better perceived as how we experience events and change. Time as it is measured is a way of thinking, a concept, it is not a reality. It is just a measure. Making time visible makes people think it has an independent existence. It does not, it is a way to measure your life and activities. Before the invention of the clock, our lives just unfolded in accordance with what was required to live.
2. Time as a measurement is not time and it is not what is important. our belief in the measurement means that we have difficulty living in the present.
3. We are finite human beings living for a finite period on the earth. - we are very limited due to this, our being is totally bound up with our finite time - the stretch between birth and death. Our limited time is the thing that defines us. Our finitude.
